Magia, Brunello Montalcino other_regions_australia essence of raspberry and plumHere is a straight shooting and enjoyable expression of Sangiovese. Like many of its peers from this undertone vintage, the 2012 Brunello di Montalcino opens to a dark ruby color and shows pretty aromatic intensity. There are notes of dried cherry, wild berry, spice and tobacco. But the wine is rather short in persistence and although it offers good structure, there is a point of sour cherry on the close. Some 26,000 bottles are produced.
