black cherries and crushed blackcurrants notes plus hints of Sichuan pepper
A touch of unabsorbed SO2 doesn’t seriously detract from the pretty

This is certainly impressive but the Griotte has that something extra in 2015
Latour Martillac other_regions black cherries and crushed blackcurrantsThe 2015 Tour Martillac was impressive from barrel and that is translated into bottle. It has a much more attractive bouquet than the 2015 Olivier with crushed strawberry, briary and warm gravel aromas. The palate is medium bodied with grainy tannin, a fine bead of acidity, fresh and classic in style with an earthy and quite persistent finish. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting. Neal Martin
