It is designed for double hung wood and vinyl windows and mortises into the sash rail by 11 32" (8. 7mm) for a clean, low profile installation. The lock uses 1 5 8" (41. 3mm) center to center mounting holes and has a 1 4" (6. 4mm) thick cam. The body is made of die cast metal for durability.
