Well, you know I love a note like that. And, always, a heart shaped box, the body of this one composed of eight stacked layers of alternating woods, and with a heart nailed to the underside of the lid so that it fits just right. Nicely done, whether by George or someone else! Earlier 20th century I believe, bright and crisp. 4 1 2" x 4 1 2" x 2 1 4" t. Excellent condition.
