I was surprised though by the absence of the usual excellent complexity though it’s entirely possible that this will develop more than I presently imagine with time in bottle

with pot-pourri

with notes of spices and peat moss that reminded me of a Côte de Nuits wine

Clusel Roch, Condrieu Verchery other_regions OutstandingFrom Chery, the 2020 Condrieu Verchery features delicate aromas of spring flowers, lychees, white peaches and fresh limes. It's medium bodied, fresh, clean and long on the finish. Not a big, rich example of the appellation, it's built on the current trend of freshness, while still having plenty of character.
