The box measures 10" in diameter (the plates measure just shy of that) and 2

The long rectangles measure 2 1/2" x 3/4"

and if one looks closely one can make out the "Pat'd" on one side

Ancient Carved Something! basketry vase North CarolinaThis small carved object seems to me to be at least several hundred years; it is super smooth and almost seems petrified. I'm guessing it likely once served a function rather than being a whimsy of sorts, but really I have no idea. I just like it as an object, that feels great to hold, and would just set it somewhere where I could pick it up, though it could also be strung and hung, or even worn as a large, super rustic pendant! 2 3 4" t x 1 3 4" w x
