Roman Redware, Pottery Sherd D meteorite Shehaj (UniFi and UniTn): MineralAncient Roman redware pottery (Terra Sigillata) sherd for sale, dating back to the 1st century BCE 2nd century CE. In archaeology, a shard is describing glass and a sherd describes pottery. This specimen was sourced from the estate of Doctor Dean Axelson, the founder of the Ontario Archaeological Society. It was on display at the Prehistoria Museum but has been deaccessioned to raise funds for our operations and renovations. This fragment measures ~2.
