Homely Lamb, Hugely Empathetic Old End Of Day Sewer Tile Pottery Sculpture antique spatter painted I’d hang it hang onI do believe the most empathetic sewer tile end of day pottery creature I have ever seen I have very deep love for this one! I believe its maker likely modeled it on other lambs made using molds (see last photo for an example) but SO much better to be hand sculpted, with these wonderfully eager large ears and this heartbreakingly homely face. I'm not sure sewer tile creations get the full attention they deserve to my mind, what a celebratory thing
