A Mint 1942 Issue Wehrmacht Heer (Army) Issue Krim Campaign Shield By Josef Feix United Republic of Silver and Bronze Grade BadgesA textbook example of a Wehrmacht Heer Crimea Campaign shield rmelschild; in bronzed metal (magnetic); on a field grey wool backer; with a metal backer on the reverse and all four prongs intact behind a paper backing marked JFS 42 for Josef Feix & Shne and 1942 manufacture; measuring 64 mm (w) x 75 mm (h); with very faint signs of oxidation on the obverse on the left claw and left wing, but in overall mint and unissued condition.
