In silver gilt with red enamels, measuring 21. 8 mm (w) x 23. 8 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of Freedom was instituted on June 12, 1945 and awarded to senior military commanders for outstanding leadership and courage.
