Germany, Luftwaffe. A Radio Operator And Air Gunner Badge, By Berg & Nolte Auction A 1933-34 RAD Wir-Helfen badge(Fliegerschtzenabzeichen fr Bordschtzen und Bordmechaniker). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching dual lightning bolts, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Berg
