The baking spices morph into a biting heat when you take a sip, but cooked apple notes persist and keep the fire at a simmer until it bursts into flames on the finish. This Dutch made rye whiskey is brisk and oaky, accented with vanilla, pecan and dried apricot, finishing lightly sweet and gently spiced. Small batch.
