An Order Of St. George, I Class Cross, C.1916 Hold 1937 by Captain ChrissementConstructed of gilded metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with pentagonal backplate, presenting as a Cross Patte with central obverse medallion depicting raised image of St. George slaying a dragon, reverse with central medallion depicting monogram of Tsar Nicholas II, left and right arms inscribed with award number 38713, lower arm inscribed with 1 (I Class), measuring 34. 48 mm (w) x 41. 47 mm (h) and weighing 19. 2 grams
