Belt Buckle Of The Romanian Youth Organization "Straja Tarii" Hold 81 mm x 36Buckle in patinated bronze, central round panel measures 50mm, featuring Romanian Coat of Arms, in near mint condition. Footnote: this yourth organization was established in 1935 by King Carol II, and was modeled on German and Italian youth organizations of the same period. All boys aged 7 to 18 and all girls between 7 and 21 were supposed to join. The members used the Roman salute as greeting.
