Constructed of feinkzink with enames, the obverse consisting of a white enameled disk with a raised inscription of GAUSIEGER 1944 (REGIONAL WINNER 1939), within a laurel wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cog wheel, in turn bearing a HJ insignia in the form of a red and white enameled diamond with a central black mobile swastika, the reverse with a ball hinge and vertical pinback
