Germany. A Wound Badge, Silver Grade, By The Official Vienna Mint Hold 1940 in Durban(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of oval shaped silvered tombac; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical tapered pin, and a functional hinge catch assembly; marked 30 for the Official Vienna Mint; in overall better than extremely fine condition.
