A badge of two piece construction, in silvered bronze, with red, white, and black enamels, the obverse presents a Wehrmacht style eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, riveted to an enamelled oval base, reverse presents a horizontal retaining pin, the number 1039 is stamped on the reverse, measures 75. 69 mm (w) x 39. 45 mm (h), presents enamel damage near the base of the badge, and in very fine condition.
