The sides of the vase are finished with two large circular ash ring handles which are bound with ash splints in the "Penobscot star" pattern

with a bit of brown stain on the interior bottom and a bit of minor scratching on one side of the exterior

Sterling Silver Seagull Pin Murano glass 2" across at lipSeagulls can be rather loud and obnoxious, but I still think they're pretty beautiful birds especially in flight, as is this lovely sterling silver one. Very nicely made, and a reminder of the seashore anytime one wears it! 3 1 4" wide x 1" tall x 1 4" deep and in very good vintage condition. I've polished the silver some and it could be polished a bit more. Pin closes securely with a clasp. There is a maker's mark and "Sterling" stamped on the back.
