I believe it was produced for Bitossi Rosenthal Netter and likely dates to the 1960s/early 70s
as one moves around it
It features a hand-painted golden duck
which takes a strong pull to open
The Perfect Mid-Century Serving Spoons partially carved I believe it was producedI really can't envision a more beautiful set of serving spoons than these, and in fact I purchased a whole salad set at an estate sale just to get them! That sale was of a Boston gallerist who dealt in Haitian art, and I believe that these are Haitian teak. Interestingly, they have a darker stain starting about a third of the way down the handles, and there is a signature carved into one handle, but I can't quite discern it. I love the combination of
