As well as the RAF the Beaufighter served with the Fleet Air Arm

There are still a small number of these legendary aircraft flying today

The B 26 was then allocated to support the allied invasion of North Africa followed by combat in Sicily, Italy and Southern France. Great success was achieved during the build up to D Day with the attack on Bridges and V1 launching sites.
