Very good condition and marked on the bottom with a salamander and the word "original"

Faceted Studio Pottery Vase with Light Blue Animals by Jeffrey Lipton Holman NWT print I found it at anSuch a curious vase, and I think quite a charming one, with these highly stylized stacked animals on opposite sides rendered in matte baby blue. Hand thrown then trimmed and I believe salt fired, the stoneware vessel itself feels Japanese, but then this giraffe, pig, bird, and I'm not sure what (!) turn it into something else entirely! I've just learned this piece is a quintessential example of the recent work of Bowdoinham, Maine based ceramicist
