Esteri Tumula "Pastoraali" Arabia, Finland Porcelain Vase satirical publication pages 122-131 (the second partQuintessentially mid century Scandinavian, this is a "Pastoraali" pattern large porclain vase designed by Esteri Tomula for Arabia Finland c. 1965. The illustrative surface design, in black and blue against bright white and covering nearly every inch of it, features a young woman with quite a sculptural head of hair (!) and long dress patterned with curlicues surrounded by a dense pattern of flowers, leaves, and birds. I found it at an estate sale
