Antique Mauritanian Prayer Strand coral & Amber These round measure 11mm diameter35" inch prayer bead strand from Mauritania, early 1900's. Hand carved ebony bicones, 16mm diameter x 9mm tall, with 2. 5 3mm holes. Glass, various sizes and 20mm carnelian, beads sprinkled in. 119 beads altogether, not including the counter beads and tassel bead. The tassel has a woven or crocheted "bead" with faded bluish brown strings. This is a very traditional islamic prayer strand, very special, from my personal collection!
